Many people wonder where in the world they can get good information on grant writing. The best book I ever found in researching grant writing for my organization was “Grant Writing for Dummies” by Beverly Browning.
Grant Writing for Dummies is very well written, especially for newbies (Im not a dummy!). Gives the best overall info for your money spent.
Just wanted to pass on this invaluable resource for getting grant money from foundations and the government. Its a no-thrills, basic, no-hype type of info you need to begin the process of getting funding from the best organizations.
I actually got this book AFTER we received our first grant of $35000. I wish I could have had it before! If you are going to write grants or are considering this maybe as a profession, I encourage you to purchase Grant Writing for Dummies by Beverly Browning.
